It reduces pharyngeal and chest congestion by liquefying the thickened mucus in the airways and because of kaphnisaraka (expectorant) and kashara (antitussive) properties, it treats cough.

Ingredients
Sita – 16 part, Vanshlochan – 8 part, Pippali – 4 part, Ela – 2 part and Tvak – 1 part.
Dosage
3-6 g twice a day with honey or as directed by the physicians
